Overview
We are an agency of 28 sworn police officers, along with the 6 support members of the department who provide law enforcement services to a community of 12 square miles.
We are a diversified and proactive Police Department. Our department was among the first in Wyoming to adopt Community Policing as a philosophy and thought process. We were also among the first in Wyoming to start a:
- Bicycle patrol
- Crime Stoppers affiliation
- Citizens Patrol
- K9 program
- School Resource Officers program
All of these programs combine to help us better solve community problems and provide quality service to the community.
