Wastewater Treatment Plant

Employees in the Wastewater Department dispose of the City of Evanston’s waste products in a safe and efficient manner. Their major duties include:
  • The public health and welfare of the citizenry of Evanston is our first priority, by treating the wastewater to prevent water borne disease out breaks
  • Disposing of biosolids in a safe efficient manner
  • Monitoring our industries so no pollutants are discharged that will affect the environment or people adversely
  • Maintaining the plant, and keeping all machinery in working order
  • Reporting to State and Federal agencies reports and parameters on our operations
The Wastewater Treatment Plant Operators are Certified by the State of Wyoming’s DEQ and undergo continuous training.
