I was born in Evanston in the old hospital (which is now the Senior Citizen's Center). I was raised in Mt. View on a ranch and worked in the family construction business where I learned how to work hard and put in long hours.

I graduated from Mt. View High School and attended the University of Wyoming where I competed for the Cowgirls in four sports. I also officiated basketball and volleyball while I was in college and was the first female certified official in Wyoming. I graduated from UW with a degreee in education and began teaching at Cheyenne Central, then on to Lyman High School, and since 1981 at Evanston High School.

I have enjoyed coaching girls and boys basketball, volleyball, and track and was inducted into the Wyoming and National Coaches Hall of Fame.

My husband is a Forest Ranger here in Evanston and our 4 kids have all graduated from Evanston High School. I have served on numerous local, state and national boards including: WCA (Wyoming Coaches Association), NHSACA (National HS Coaches Assn.), WAHPERD (Wyoming Alliance for Health, PE, Recreation, and Dance), SAFV (Sexual Assault and Family Violence), We Care (EHS liaison), and others.

I have enjoyed living in the great city of Evanston and I hope to give something back to the community that has been so supportive to me and my family.
