Where is the animal shelter located?
45 Patriot Court, Evanston, Wyoming

How does the animal shelter receive pets?
People sign over unwanted pets, or Animal Control picks up stray animals.
3.
What are the steps necessary to adopt a pet?
The pet is chosen and adoption fee paid. Depending on the pet, the pet may need booster/initial shots ($8), which are given at the Shelter and the new pet gets a free examination from Bear River Vet or MJB Vet.
4.
How long does the animal shelter keep pets?
Animals that are picked up wandering stray are held for 72 hours then placed for adoption. Animals signed over to the shelter are immediately placed for adoption.
5.
What other services besides adoption does the animal shelter offer?
The shelter offers pet licensing services, booster shots are given to animals impounded, and the shelter also offers cremation services.
6.
What are the adoption fees for cats and dogs?
Dog $25, puppy (under 7 months) $5, cat $15, kitten (under 7 months) $5 if shots are needed an additional $8 is required.
7.
How can I help the animal shelter?
The animal shelter cannot accept monetary donations or citizen volunteers, however we are grateful for donations of pet food and cat litter.
